At the forefront of our Surveying & Administration departments at Right Surveyors Rugby, are these two experienced individuals
Nigel began his route to becoming a Chartered Building Surveyor in 1988 when he attended the College of Estate Management to study a Diploma in Building Surveying. Less than ten years later, Nigel had obtained member status at the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS), highlighting his passion and extensive knowledge of the property industry.
As well as providing a myriad of different surveys, Nigel, as a specialist building surveyor, is able to offer his clients in Rugby a specific defect analysis service. He uses his extensive knowledge of building pathology to provide a clear yet comprehensive analysis of any property defect. Nigel will use his experience to ensure that he always provides the highest quality service, delivered with a smile.
As Head Secretary, Lisa works tirelessly to ensure that our chartered surveyors get the support that they require to meet every deadline, whilst at the same time maintaining a high level of quality.
Her secretarial experience spans over twenty years, ranging from fast paced surveying practices in London to the more tranquil setting of North Devon.
Lisa says: “We understand that for many of our clients, a quick turnaround is vital. It is for that reason we do our upmost to avoid delays by producing reports quickly and to the highest possible standard, giving our clients the best chance of securing their property purchase.”
This service analyses the condition of the property, it is able to offer legal advice and highlights any urgent issues. It is our lowest priced service.
Major Elements Survey
Identifying and investigating any major defects throughout the property, this service is a much more concise survey and looks at only the major defects without any wasting time on obvious or minor issues.
Our building surveyors are professional and calm which comes in handy when dealing with the Party Wall Act. The act is very complex and often leaves neighbours in disputes.
Schedule of Condition
Used prior to commencing a lease or even during party wall procedures, this survey provides clients with an overview of the building's condition and usually comes with many photographs.
Schedule of Dilapidations
Similar to a schedule of condition, except this report focuses on the condition and defects that are present at the end of a lease.
Tight budget / timescale?
Getting Verbal Acquisition Advice helps meet a range of needs. You don’t need to wait for a report to be written and given to you with this service, so if you need your purchase to be completed quickly then this service is perfect for you. As the process is so much quicker, it also means that the final fee is a lot lower, great for those with a tight budget.
The surveyor simply conducts the usual investigations on your property, but rather than giving a full report, the surveyor will get back to you directly that same day to give you feedback on the survey- either face-to-face or by telephone.
The Right Surveyors are an independent group of property consultancies. Each of our RICS regulated practices around the country provide only the highest quality of surveys, valuations and building reports to private and commercial clients.
Our surveyors are hand picked for their experience, wide skill set and local knowledge.
